Practical questions

Know what to expect.

Who is the service for?

Hiring managers, HR professionals, and small employers who already have résumés for a job. This includes recruiters, HR advisers, and senior HR personnel involved in reviewing applicants. The service helps employers assess an existing applicant pool.

What can I try in this preview?

The website sample uses fictional applicants, résumé excerpts, and assessments. You can read the evidence and change weighting profiles without an account or payment. A free trial of assessments using your own documents has not been announced. Public accounts are not open yet. Explore the fictional sample and contact hello@timetointerview.com with questions about early access.

When do I pay, and what is the price?

The provisional planning price is C$0.50 per résumé. In the product workflow, you add the job description and résumés, review the résumé count and actual assessment total, then pay before the assessment starts. The application’s quote is the amount to review before paying; the planning estimate on this website is not a payment quote. Final public checkout and purchase policies are still being prepared.

What do local-currency estimates and taxes mean?

Local-currency figures are rough equivalents of the provisional Canadian-dollar price, rounded up to the next whole cent. Exchange rates, payment currency, and any conversion charges can affect the amount eventually paid. Tax display and treatment for each region, including whether prices include tax or show it separately, still require final setup. The planning estimates do not calculate taxes.

What do I need for an assessment?

A full job description and the résumés to review for that job. Paste the job description as text, or upload a PDF or Word (.docx) file. Résumés can be PDF or Word (.docx), up to 10 MiB per file. For this preview, explore the fictional website sample before considering any upload of real applicant information.

Which résumé files and batch sizes are supported?

Job descriptions and résumés support PDF and Word (.docx) files, with a 10 MiB limit per file (about 10.5 MB). Older .doc files are not supported. The browser sends résumé uploads in batches of up to 10 files; this is the upload batch size, not a ten-applicant limit for the job. Assessment capacity and cost limits depend on the service configuration.

How long will an assessment take?

A guaranteed assessment turnaround has not been established. Processing time can vary with the number and contents of the documents and service conditions. No fixed completion time is promised in this preview.

How are applications assessed?

Each résumé is assessed with the full job description, evaluation instructions, and a six-category scoring rubric. Results include category scores, supporting résumé evidence, and explanations. The assessment describes the supplied documents; résumé claims are not independently verified.

Which weighting profile should I use?

Start with Balanced for a general view. Direct Fit gives more weight to role alignment; High Potential / Career Switcher emphasizes capability and transferable experience; Skills-Heavy / Technical Role emphasizes skills; Impact-Driven emphasizes results; and Senior / Leadership Leaning emphasizes scope and impact. Choose according to the role and apply that choice consistently across applicants. These profiles change the weighting of the same category scores without another AI assessment.

Does a high score confirm every essential qualification?

No. An overall score combines six categories, so strength in one area can offset a weaker score elsewhere. Check essential qualifications against the original documents and verify credentials or practical skills through your own hiring process. A ranking is not a pass or fail check of every requirement.

Does AI decide whom to hire?

You decide who progresses. AI can misunderstand or overlook information. Read the evidence and explanations alongside the original résumé. Scores and rankings organize a review; they do not predict job performance or make an automatic hiring decision.

What if important information is missing?

Missing résumé information does not prove an applicant lacks a skill or experience. Check the original résumé, note the uncertainty, and ask for clarification where it matters. Consider relevant transferable experience and the context of the applicant’s work, including useful contributions described without a numerical result.

Can I keep working with the results?

The product saves assessments, notes, and shortlist choices with the job. The CSV spreadsheet export contains candidate metadata, category scores, the selected profile’s total, status, and source filename. It does not contain written explanations, résumé evidence, notes, or shortlist decisions. Review those details in the application.

Can a team or recruiter use it across clients?

The documented workflow uses individual accounts, manual document uploads, saved assessments, notes, shortlist choices, and CSV export. Shared reviewer access, team membership, and client portals are outside the current documented scope. Plan around an individual workspace and manual transfer of exported data, rather than assuming a shared or integrated recruiting workflow.

What should I know before sharing applicant information?

Before customer accounts open, we will publish the provider identities, processing locations, provider training use, retention, and deletion arrangements for the application. Questions can be sent to support@timetointerview.com. The Privacy and AI use pages describe these open details. Please use the fictional sample while the customer notices and operating arrangements are being completed.
